Her keys jingle-jangle,
Ever so persistent,
Watching every move
She does
Or doesn't see
And she draws
Her own weapon
Of sorts,
This jingle-jangle
That signals
A warning cry
To enemies unknown
For She knows not
Who lurks
In the shadows
Or even hides
In plain sight
And you complain
And groan
And roll your eyes
Over the volume
Of the jingle-jangle
As she takes each step,
Yet you know
Not
The fear behind
Those darting eyes
And her racing heart
And the beads of sweat
Forming on her brow
As she searches for safety
In a locked vehicle
To finally go home
And so
The keys jingle-jangle,
Ever so persistent
