The sun shined over the green fields,

and I wondered how far it did stretch.

The scene was so beautifully set up,

and I grabbed out my notepad and began to sketch.

I only had the gray graphite from my pencil,

and it dimed the beauty of the rays.

But still the light shined through the gray

and I got lost in the summer haze.
